Today I’m doing something that I have never done and I’m so excited. Today I’m actually gonna be doing my first ever wig review. Fun fact: I’m so in love with wigs and this is gonna be the first wig that I’ve actually owned. I have always wanted to wear wigs in my entire life.
The wig I got is from a company called UniWigs. The first thing that the package does come with is a little brush, which is what’s recommended to comb out your synthetic wigs and a dupe for the tangle teezer. It also comes with two wig caps. I will use the color nude because this color will best match my skin tone.
This is a straight hair wig and 20 inches. It’s a lace front wig. At the nape of your neck it does come with two little straps that you can hook on and you can tie in it depending on the size of your head. Also if you want it to be a little bit more loose and more tight, it does come with two little clips. When you do first get the wig, there is going to be a large chunk of lace in the front. You need to trim them off. Because of that lace underneath it does mimic the color and transparency of your regular scalp so that it blends beautifully.
I was so scared that I won’t be able to wear wigs because I do have really long and pretty thick hair. I was unsure how I could hide my hair under the cap and flatten out the hair as much as possible without my wig looking really lumpy. Before put on the wig cap I’m gonna pull out my baby hair up in the front, which will make your wig look more natural and help blend your hairline better. I will leave just a little bit of my front natural hairline so that I can have this part visible.
Once you want to put on your wigs, you need to hold it upside down and dip your head into it. Once the wig is as secure as you can make it, I will pull it up to my natural parting and line it up the best I can. And then take the two clips and secure it onto my head. When you do get a very long synthetic wig, it’s going to get tangled.
Hope this is a little bit help for you guys.
